Students meet Global Entrepreneurs in Paris

On November 14th 2016, Global Entrepreneurship Program students will attend and participate in the Opening Conference for the 2016 Global Entrepreneurs Week, France.  The Conference takes place at the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris. It is organized under the auspices of Citizens Entrepreneur and the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance.

Panel discussion with key stakeholders

Centered on the topic of innovation and globalization, this conference is the perfect opportunity for students to hear from and dialogue with important stakeholders and global entrepreneurs. Among others students will hear from Bruno Berthon, Director of Accenture Strategy, Arnaud Poujardieu, Sales Director of  Eurowest – Dassault Systèmes, Emmanuelle Duez, Founder of The Boson Project & WoMen’Up,  Laurent Alexandre, President of DNAVision and Marie-Claire Capobianco, Member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas.

Professor Rickie Moore, Director of the Global Entrepreneurship Program will be part of a panel with Pierre Gattaz, President of the MEDEF, where they will talk about the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurship in France.  Professor Moore will highlight the achievements of the Global Entrepreneurship Program and its contribution to the development of young global entrepreneurs, creators of wealth and social justice.

In addition, students from the current Global Entrepreneurship Program cohort will showcase a selection of global Entrepreneurs from the program and their ventures. They will also be interviewed by Bruno Fuchs, Economic Journalist, about their vision of entrepreneurship, their program and emlyon business school in general.

Attending conferences such as the Annual Conference for Entrepreneurs is a true stepping-stone for students. They get a unique opportunity to experience a different dimension of the eco-system of global entrepreneurship, engage with national and international decision-makers, and build their professional network.
