Frederic did a Masters degree in accounting and audit before joining the Global Entrepreneurship Program
What has been your favorite course in the Global Entrepreneurship Program so far and why?
My favorite course has been ‘New Venture Creation’. It has been a very practical class with an emphasis on the necessary tools you need to use in real-life situations. For example, when it came to creating our own network in a specific industry, we applied back-links research strategies.
What did you think of your overall experience on emlyon business school’s Lyon-Ecully campus?
The overall experience in Lyon was great and mostly dedicated to getting to know the other people in the Global Entrepreneurship Program and creating an extremely family oriented cohort. We were able to create lifelong friendships in only a couple of months.
How is your second semester in China going?
The second semester in China started only a couple of weeks ago and has been great so far. Our Chinese classmates make a particular effort to give the non-Chinese students of the cohort the best of what China has to offer.
Have you been able to travel during your time in Global Entrepreneurship Program?
From the Terracotta Warriors in Xian to the first ski experience in the French Alps, the program has given us the opportunity to travel and discover many different environments, giving us different perspectives on what kind of businesses exist and how they are run.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I intend to set up my own business. I don’t have a fixed idea at the moment but I came to the program to meet potential business partners which I have already started doing. At the moment, I am working on prototyping an idea of wireless charging furniture in China with one of my classmates.
